Mackinac Island
Forty-five Paintings, custom hand-made frames, all animated, Some embossed with caligraphy by hand done in Japanese ink. Visitors from forty-five states and three countries. My personal collection of ephemera/mementos/inspiration will now be achieved at the historic fort mackinac, michigan state park the countries second national park founded after yosemite, and the painting “Avenue of Flags” which will acompany the collection has been deemed historic as it captured a monument that no longer exists at The fort. The painting, “The readers” will live on in the Mackinac Island Public Library, inspiring the importance of reading and libraries. pieces traveled east to New York and West to California and places in between… The remaining pieces can be found at the jewel box gallery, pointe of View Art.
